This section is about the timeline and history of the channel's release and the growth of it as years passed by.

2000-2002: The Programming Block Era

In the year 1999, the Bahrain Radio and Television Corporation has signed an agreement to broadcast "Spacetoon" as a programming block in intervals of the local channel "Bahrain TV" for it to premiere for 7-8 hours that launched on March 15, 2000. The channel was affiliated with Al-Zahra Dubbing Centre as the owner, "Fayez Al-Sabbagh", founded both of the companies and broadcast shows that have its dub produced by the mentioned dubbing centre. The program block exponetially grew viewership in the region of Middle East and its timeslot's hours was increased. On January 12, 2002, Bahrain TV and Radio Corporation have ceased the broadcast of the programmig block through their channel as their contract had been ended, allowing Spacetoon to launch as an independent channel and becoming the first unecrypted children's channel to broadcast in the region of Middle East and North Africa.

2002-2005: The Independent Channel Era

As the channel launched as an independent channel, more shows have been broadcasted alongside promos, advertisements, and shorts to give the channel a diverse contents for viewers to watch and its own identity that's give its brand a unique appearance. The channel is owned by the Spacetoon Media Group which the group have resources of episodes from various countries that have been dubbed and produced on the channel. The hourslot increased for further shows to premiere, new bumpers and idents are produced for the channel's identity to be enlighten and reach it's notability in the region, allowing the channel to further grow and produce merchandise affiliated with other brands such as miniature toys.

2005-2012: The Revamp Era

The channel's main features have been revamped, giving it a new appeareance to bumpers, idents, promos and the planets itself with its new bridging and ending. Moreover, the timeslot increase for broadcast and rebroadcast to occur during the midnight with the channel's closing hour will be during the same time until sunrise. More shows from international countries broadcasted on the channel alongside producing their own shows such as "Data City" and "Spacetoon Interactive", both broadcasting on the same planets. Bumpers and idents were made with special designs for specific occasions to give a diverse decoration such as Ramadan, Eid Mubarak, and Anniversary of the channel. Promos of subsidiaries of the channels were made to promote the channel's diversity such as digital platforms and merchandise.
