Spacetoon Archive is a passion project made by Taleb ! and worked on with the to community! The website was created on June 14, 2024 and this project is aim to archive and document the entirety of the channel. There'll be sections of topics related to the channel, whether it's directly afflifiated or as honorable mentions. Each sections will be focus on the respective topics with the objective of providing key details, accurate informations and reliable sources in one page to gain insight of the topics that people are able to read with full understanding and able to skim and scan. However, if you would like to share regarding your thoughts, opinions or any new informations then please feel free to use the comment section below each pages and keep it relevant. Spacetoon is an Arabic children's television channel that was first launched on March 15, 2000 as a programming block under a local channel in Bahrain called "Bahrain TV". The channel was linked to the Al-Zahraa Dubbing Center from Syria, which was founded by director Fayez Al-Sabbagh - who initially launched the same dubbing center 15 years ago in 1985. The channel became an affiliate channel two years later on January 12, 2002 when it settled on its contract. The channel continues to broadcast shows ranging from anime, live action and animation and is available for everyone to watch the channel through TV because it is a free satellite channel, unless the other channel is encrypted before its launch and must be subscribed to watch those channels. Furthermore, this causes an influx of new channels to be free to watch in the mid-2000s to late 2000s.


During the early years of its intial launch, Spacetoon broadcast for 7-8 hours as the shows broadcasting at the time were licensed dubs provided by Al-Zahra Centre which had been broadcasted on local channels in different countries. As years pass by, more contents were showed on the block such as songs, idents, and PSAs. As it soon became an independent channel, the channel manages what and how they broadcast with a brand new time slot and intervals to being a kind of its own alongside sponsorships. Spacetoon is the most optimal channel for shows, slots and advertisements to broadcast as it gather lots of attention and merchandise was advertise everywhere.



The concept of the channel's theme is in an outer space which the perspective came from a spacecraft, navigating the vast size of the universe. There are 10 planets on the universe which represents the shows based on the planet's themes, allowing the viewers knowing to know what should be expected when arrived to the planet and shows that might interest them. Those planets are located in the Spacetoon Galaxy which broadcast in the morning, signalising that the channel would be start broadcasting throughout the day until its closing hour. The planet themselves and Spacecraft will have a seperate pages for itselves.
